Troy founded Rising Summit, a marketing company specializing in website design. The company currently operates out of NYC, with clients in Honolulu and New York.
Troy produced, edited, and shot short documentary videos for PunaVision. Many of these documentaries were broadcast on TV through PBS Hawaii. He also directed and shot multi-camera sports web-casts streamed live on YouTube.
Troy co-founded Clear Future. Using micro CSP (concentrated solar power) technology from Sopogy, the company aimed to provide filter-less water purification devices to countries that lack accessible clean water. Ulupono provided financial backing and resources for the venture.
